MediaCMS what can I say but an amazing Video Hosting Solutions, I mean a killer check out our demo.
However there are a few little tips and tricks that I have found to help what I think are things to “tweak” or add things to it.
So first thing is changing the Powered by at the lower left of the page. To do this we have to edit a single file. That file is: /home/mediacms.io/mediacms/templates/config/installation/contents.html
footer: 'Powered by <a href="https://wordops.theserveradmin.com" title="The Server Admin" target="_blank">The Server Admin</a>',There you go! Don’t forget to save it. Now the interesting page, as this is a core file, you need to restart the MediaCMS, to do this save your file and come back to the prompt. Now run the following
systemctl restart mediacms celery_long celery_shortThis will rebuilt your site changing that link!
Just stumbled across this post while looking for more info on MediaCMS. Are you still using this platform? I just started and I think it looks promising. Right now, I am trying to figure out a way to only allow registration with @ourcompanyname.com
I don’t have any connections outside our network (and I don’t plan on it either), but I want employees to register as themselves. I don’t want their gmail accounts or the mischievous users to register anonymously.
Morning, no I am no anymore. I switched to PHP Medley – https://videos.theserveradmin.com The biggest reasons I switched is honestly how hard it is to modify anything. What I like about this, is that there is no encoding going on. Which for me is nice, as I already as I have my videos already formatted the way I want them. PHP Medley has all the tools, banners, and more. Personally I would look at it vs MediaCMS just to see if it is what you need/looking for.
